After being diagnosed with prostate cancer, Dr Jacobs discussed the different treatment methods available. He explained the pros and cons of the different treatment methods. He told me that he will recommend the Robotic surgery as it is less invasive and that it is easier to perform seeing that there are various cameras that can see from different angles and the chances of damaging any nerves or other organs are very slim. He also mentioned that the recovery process is also shorter. After hearing all this, I decided to have my prostate removed using the Robotic surgery. This turned out to be a very wise decision as I am feeling very good at this stage. I am back at work. I would like to thank Dr Jacobs for his honesty and the professionalism displayed every time during my consultations.
